"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" (Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, David Fincher Directing) was an underrated drama that I hadn't really seen reactionaries do on their channels. It's a wonderful film that remains the only one I've ever felt comfy calling 'flawless'.

The stronger the emotion (sad, scared, happy, etc.), the better for me, so as long as you're up for it, here I'll be. A classic, if you haven't seen it, is "Life is Beautiful" (I guess that's the english name, I've only watched in spanish and italian)

I know it was said, but if you have not seen Schindler's List....I don't know if there is a more emotional movie. The movie is raw and probably Spielberg's best work. It's something everyone should watch.

Well, this is my list, not an everybody list, lol. Not a fan of Mystic Pizza. I did struggle with having Pratical Magic as well since it has quite a few scenes centered around the kitchen/dinning area but felt it didn't have a strong food sub-plot. I don't have the apple streaming so never knew that existed. And kitchen confidential isn't technically a movie but we're all free to make recommendations. 😊

Ok I looked thru all the suggestions already shared and wanted to share some of my own suggestions. The Imitation Game LesMiserables two versions musical one is more sad I think Okja "Waitress" plus optional documentary about writer/director/actor who was murdered, even has a law and order episode about her murder "Unleashed" this action movie will surprise you The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Also you could play a story game like What Remains of Edith Finch it is only a 2 hour game, or you could also do one of the Life Is Strange games, the first one is good second one is ok and same with the third and they made a prequel for the first one that is also pretty good, especially after playing the first one. Tell Tale has some great games that will all hit you in the feels with out having a huge time commitment. Oh and last suggestion is Death Stranding Video game, it is a lot of commitment in terms of time but worth it.

The number 1 most beloved movie with basically no presence on the reactosphere is one that fits your mood right now: Magnolia (1999) I've been baffled by it. It's a famous film that was quite successful, and the early film internet adored it on the level of other experimental breakouts of the time like Memento and The Matrix. I'd recommend it to anyone, because it's sort of about everyone.

ONE DAY show on Netflix, its the most relatable for you i'm sure Vicky. Its only 1 season finished story & the episodes are VERY SHORT like 20-25 minutes each. You could do 5 episodes at a time, and you'd be finished within 3 parts/watches. EVERYBODY who seen this show was left in an Awe, to say the least ! Maybe you could do the ONE DAY show **additionally** to a movie thats been here suggested and which you will choose to watch.

Schindler's List Vee, it's time for you to watch Schindler's List. It must be one of the most emotional films of all time. In addition, it is outside the usual genres, as it is a historical drama and Oscar winner for best film. Know that the characters you see in the film are real people. It is a film based on actual events (almost), making it more impactful.

I'm at a loss. I prefer films that caused me to shed a tear unexpectedly rather than those that are knowingly designed to do just that and if I say, Watch this it'll make you cry then I'm giving away the story if that makes any sense. I didn't expect to get teary-eyed watching The Green Mile or Train to Busan, but if someone says oh, you've got to see Weepy Movie because you'll bust out crying then I consider that kind of spoiling the experience and creating unneeded expectations. Sorry I'm being a wet blanket about it. 😭😅🙃🙄😊

My favorite movie of all time is Magnolia. Though it's 3 hours long, it's insanely well written, directed, and acted. The other movie that comes to mind that's very emotional for me is The Wrestler. It's very raw. Both are very raw.

A Silent Voice. I have yet to see anyone I share this movie with not cry. The catharsis that hits at the end hits different. One of my favorite movies, including non-anime films.

If you haven't seen it yet I'd recommend the Green Mile. It is really really heavy on your heart though. It's one of my favorite movies of all time but I think I only ever watched it once. I don't know if I've ever cried uglier and harder at another movie like this one.

I know I just mentioned this in your previous post, V, but I'd like to bring up Lonesome Dove again. It has a LOT of emotional gut punch moments throughout the entire 4-part series, and you WILL need tissues. You might even be a blubbering mess by the end of it lol. It hits THAT hard, believe me. And I'd also like to add another vote for An American Tail. Great movie with a wonderful theme song.
