This was a really sad episode but showed just how much Appa means to Aang.. It was really sad to see him that way and to see the group so split (Sokka was just trippin the entire eppy LOL) but leave it to Katara to keep everyone together:')) I love her so much

In the intro you mentioned them finding a big rock in the desert when they were stranded and I immediately thought of that SpongeBob episode where they drove a rock like the pioneers. I almost expected you to mention that. But then later you talked about an Alaskan bull worm and I laughed so hard. We love our SpongeBob! This whole Appa kidnapping arc is so sad. I know adult men who never cry watching things but they tear up over Appaβs situation. π As for Iroh, heβs just a legend through and through.

Something that I always think about in this episode is Tophs pov of Aang in the Avatar state. To my knowledge she had no idea of the Avatar state, one moment he is speaking and the next thereβs hundreds of demonic voices mixed with Aang speaking at once as the ground they stand on begins to break apart. Sokka grabs her and tells her to run, no explanation, no nothing, just to straight up run. I canβt imagine how terrified she must gotten at that moment.
