Adding salt to water will increase the density of that water relative to fresh water. The human body is about 60% (mostly) fresh water so add enough salt into a tub/pool and yeah you'd float in it pretty easily. One place where this occurs naturally on Earth is the Dead Sea in Israel. It's about 8x more salty than the ocean which is not only more than enough to make you float around on the surface it's also almost impossible to dive below the surface without a lot of extra weights (like 50kg/110lbs of weights to go scuba diving).
