First Time Watching The Rock!!!
🕑 Added 2023-07-22 17:57:19 +0000 UTCFirst Time Watching The Rock for JL. Patreon Exclusive.
*Patreon is being SUPER weird and not even letting me see patreons or posts, so I hope you all are able to see this. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Tucker and Dale vs Evil, and Casino should all be up by the end of the weekend, and we should be caught up by that point with the schedule, and J will start knocking out the patreon picks owed for this month this upcoming week as well.

I have seen this film so many times I can't count, and I just now realized after watching with J that Jim Caviezel is the pilot near the end who dropped the B*mb on the island. Goes to show you never see everything in a film no matter how many times you see it.

Me, Me, Me!!! My hand is up, I promise. :)

Our little J is a full-time youtuber now... SO HAPPY for y'all!!!, I know that J sometimes was exhausted and yet he delivered every time. You and J deserve all the success, let's go for 1000 patreons and 100k subscribers by the end of 2023!!!

He is. Moving backed him up a week or two, but now that he's not spending 8-9 hours a day at a job, he will have plenty of time to get caught up. Basically be one a day the rest of the month. But he's def gonna get thru them this month.

Please watch G.I. Jane (1997) & Lionheart (1990) both absolute bangers! I haven’t seen any reactors watch either of these movies… you can be the first!
Big Frank

Ok show of hands, who considers this a Bond movie?
Big Frank
Blank, is J going to be able to fulfill, all of the murder whistle commitments this month?
Miss Gigglebox
Hey Blank, can you please send me this movie. I can't find it anywhere. Thanks a bunch!
Amanda Bates
Have you seen Face/Off? Nicholas Cage and John Travolta! Phenomenal movie!
Alexis
Saw this as a 15 year old during a summer scuba diving camp with the Royal Navy, we went as a troop to see it as it happened to come out that week. You can imagine the mood was fucking *lit* for the remainder of the camp.
Blank EOM
Yes. It’s the $100 per month tier. Guarantees the pick done the month it’s purchased.

How do Patreon picks work? Is it by a certain level that you can request?
Charles Semon
I was wondering how long it'd take you to figure out Ol' boy played Kyle Reese in Terminator lol

Welcome to the EOM patreon fam, Vincent!

Just joined Patreon to watch you watch my favorite movie of all time, couldn’t wait until Monday!

There is a theory that Sean Connery's character in this film is actually James Bond. Supposedly the year he was caught and imprisoned was also the last year Sean played James Bond in the 007 films and that is why that specific James Bond was never seen again. There are a lot of other things in the conspiracy that coincide but I can't remember them right now. If anyone here knows more, please let us know. :) I love Nic Cage in this film!! Only he can pull off the words, "Zeus' Butthole!!"
Rogue_Paramedic
In the shower scene he does scream at Cmdr Anderson.
Rogue_Paramedic
Yeah!! My favorite movie scene ever. When we (US Marines) interacted with SeAL team 2. General Hummel was the truth! Fan theory is that Mason is actually James Bond. You and Blank can delete my comment if it's a spoiler violation.

I was thinking The Right Stuff and Apollo 13, Alexis, maybe he don't! Also thought The Truman Show, but "cut transmission!" A History of Violence, Glen Gary, Knightriders, Walker, Needful Things, The Firm, Westworld, live interviews... dude's screamy. Wish there was a supercut.
Alexis
Yeah he shouts a few times here but no screaming. I don't think he screams in The Right Stuff or A Beautiful Mind (just off the top of my head), but definitely makes up for it in The Abyss.

So I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and saw this film opening weekend when I was 14. As we were watching it, and they showed the bombs with the VX nerve gas and how they're going to use it against people in the Bay Area I remember thinking to myself...holy crap I could have been at that Niners game they were going to send the missle to! A lot of Bay area kids go to Alcatraz as a class field trip in elementary school. Or at least they did in the 80s. The place is pretty cool and it's also genuinely creepy. It's absolutely freezing there too, so I know these actors went through hell filming there. This one is always very nostalgic for me to watch.

So, someone answer this for me if you know. Is this the *only* Ed Harris movie where he doesn't SCREAM at some point?
Lifehouse
Im about to watch this.. Im crossing my fingers and hoping that J makes a Dwayne Johnson joke because of the movietitle. Haha
