2023 Week 45 Poll: J's Post JLoween Pick Whatever He Wants Poll!!!

He is picking the Wednesday movie (first time watch optional), he gets to pick the entire poll, and we are doing Saw 4 since he already watched it that week to give him an extra day to recover. So, these are the 5 he chose simply because he wants to see them and they're as far away from JLoween as he can get. You all know the rules, poll lasts a week, so get those votes in and let's see what J is gonna watch to unwind from another beard whitening October.

I love the other guys definitely a great movie, a true classic. I didn't even see the nice guys on the list. I agree with everyone else who has said Nice Guys is super underrated. its a must watch

I really think J will like Bridesmaids, but I voted for Game Night. I was very surprised how good Game Night was when I saw it in theaters. It's a smart comedy. :)

Shows how much my movie watching has plummeted the past decade. Rarely watch anything new. I have zero idea what any of those movies are lol. I used to watch so many movies. Now days it's just video games and watching people react to shows and movies of old and video games.

I'm not normally a Will Ferrell guy, but The Other Guys is an exception. And while I think the first Expendibles isn't great, I think J needs to get to this franchise eventually because 2 and 3 are fun IMO.

Had to give “Bridesmaids (2011)” my vote this time as I feel so badly when J says he is really looking forward to a particular horror/slasher film and then almost immediately regrets it and says “you all did this to me”.

The Other Guys, The Expendables, and Bridesmaids are all must see movies. I actually love all of The Expendable movies.

The Other Guys is great and I'd argue should win like it currently is - but don't discount The Nice Guys for the future: there's a lot of reactions to this all at the same time (I've seen it full length at least twice in the last month and I don't think I could handle it again) so people might be burned out on it, but it is a great movie. Also if The Other Guys win there is an unrated version which is even more messed up than the theatrical that breaks my rule of watching theatrical first - there are exceptions, and this is one.
