Grandma's Passing
🕑 Added 2024-06-05 15:35:03 +0000 UTCMy grandma passed away recently. She was getting old and it was her time it seemed. Went to visit family for a celebration of her life, which was getting together for a crawfish boil! Grandma loved the beach and seafood! Back in South Alabama I remember VERY much how we would always go out to seafood restaurants when we wanted to have a "fancy" dinner influenced by my grandmother no doubt.
Being someone who left Alabama for more northern locations, naturally I thought, "Wow I haven't talked to my extended family in years. I need to do something nice for them. So I made this painting which is hopefully being distributed among the family now. I do hope they enjoy it!

You have my condolences, but I'm glad you and your family were able to celebrate her life. I feel like all grandparents would want that more than being mourned for. I know my grandma would have.
