Lieutenants T’Poll - Early DS9 release question
🕑 Added 2023-01-17 21:38:00 +0000 UTCComing off our last poll (henceforth by popular demand referred to as a T'Poll), we have officially switched at the Lieutenants Level (until PICARD s3) to two Enterprise eps per month, two (guaranteed) DS9 eps per month (with our two VOYAGER eps remaining untouched at the President’s Level).
Interestingly, many of you have commented that even though Lieutenants get an early release of DS9 eps in the Patreon, they would actually prefer if the episodes were released to the main feed with less/no delay to keep the discussion on the Discord and Facebook democratic and instant.
I (Andy) can discuss this with Matt, but just to give you a heads up - I handle the Patreon posts and Matt handles the main feed posts - sometimes Matt is going to lag behind in any event, but let’s assume for the sake of the poll he’s going to release it pretty close to when it drops here - would you beautiful Patrons prefer our DS9 TNC episodes:

You are correct that I have to prod Matt to get him to release the main feed, but I respect everybody wanting to discuss as a group. :)
I'd be happy if you did more ds9 episodes and fewer enterprise. I enjoy the banter whether I'm paying for it or not.

I’m voting to post here early not because I want a special Patreon perk, but my impression from Andy’s comments are that this early release format is actually less stressful than coordinating with Matt to drop the podcast on main feed at the same time. It seems like most people aren’t getting that read though, so maybe I’m wrong?
