ENTERPRISE s2e25 “Bounty”
🕑 Added 2022-12-09 01:19:14 +0000 UTCIn our continuing pattern of synchronous Trek episodes, here's an Enterprise ep weirdly reminiscent of the DS9 "Vortex" episode we just posted. Archer's kidnapped (again) by the most badass/friendly/innocuous/defiant/loyal/cold/calculating Tellarite in the bounty hunter/tanker-hauling trucker biz! And Berman-Braga are at it again, in a classic Pon Farr/get T'Pol oiled up and into her implausibly small decon outfit story!
Post your Enterprise-related comments/questions here for consideration for the next Enterprise pod!

Re: Matt's dream about Buzz Aldrin murdering Neil Armstrong - I strongly recommend that Matt reads "The Apollo Murders" by Chris Hadfield. It might help pass the time during unemployment, and I think he would greatly enjoy it.
So, going off of the observation of Trek cannibalizing itself, AND other shows Vice versa, I recently finished Seasons 1-3 of The Orville. Everything you heard is true - it is rehashed/tribute to TNG but (eventually) does it VERY well! The pilot didn’t quite know how to balance the comedy and the Sci-fi but about halfway through season 1 it finally gets its legs, although the act breaks weak sometimes. The reason I bring this up is first, not only is it worth a second chance when Enterprise is done, (surprise surprise it’s better than Picard and Disco) BUT Seth McFarlane hired Brannon Bragga and it’s NOT the same kind of schenanigans - which suggests Berman Berman Bragga Bragga may have been Berman Berman Berman Berman… Maybe…
