Madonna generally avoids talking about her charity work and her kind caring persona. Unless it's HIV funding or being an activist she doesn't ever announce a donation. Very old school Catholic that way. She visited AIDS hospices on the regular but never announced then and visits children hospitals but doesn't publicize and requires ndas. She helps people with various things a former dancer of hers lived at her place rent free when he had trouble finding work but again no publicity because it's a private thing and not a part she wants in her persona. Madonna has gone through hell and continues to go through it take make better for us all. No one could probably handle all the hate she gets on the daily and this is the edited video there is a longer version of the speech

This generation needs to recognize and give the respect this woman deserves. Madonna paved the way that so many pop stars today walk with little difficulty. It was her through that cultural, sexual, and musical shock who initiated the tremendous shift that allowed women in the pop industry to position themselves as major influencers and powerful figures. She is the one who started it all, and everyone should give her the respect, recognition, and love she has earned over more than 35 years of fighting within the industry. She is the Queen for a reason, and she always will be.
