“so I” is about producer/song writer and artist SOPHIE who passed in 2021. She was a long time collaborator and friend to Charli . Charli talks about pushing Sophie away around the time of her death and the guilt she feels 😢

“girl so confusing” is about Lorde. she’s actually on the remix of the song 😊. It’s kinda about how the industry pit women against each other. they wanna be friends but felt like they are competition.
