Ahh this album is my childhood!! I was an angst filled teen who hated her parents lol for me this album was directed at them but for Avril it's a divorce album... also side note the song Slipped Away was so impactful for me to since I experienced so much death and loss as a child so having that song was so helpful to be able to listen to.. Avril wrote it for her grandfather who died
