Knowing about the time hijinks there at the end, Howl’s first words to Sophie make even more sense. She told him to find her in the future, and he’d been looking for her. Love this movie and an excellent reaction! Thanks for the great time!

Thank you for reacting to this. I have been meaning to watch this, but just haven’t been motivated. It was kind of like watching it with a buddy, so thanks again. This movie was really interesting and fun, but I gotta say… a hopping scarecrow would not be it … it was cute… but maybe not the move right away.

Sophie's Mom didn't live in Howl's castle previously. She's probably been to the building in the town before. It was always dirty, that's why she said "I barley recognize the place" It's cause Sophie went beast mode when she was cleaning.

I find it interesting how Howl used to have dark hair naturally but dyes it blond, kinda like one other man with a young mind I could think of... ;)

I think sophie's curse has two main aspects: her body reflects her mind; it isn't actually a curse. She immediately accepts her new old body and is freed by it rather than tortured, and her youthful beauty comes back once and for all at the end.

I have always thought that whenever Sophie becomes young again it's when she forgets that she was turned into an old woman - and when someone or something reminds her of that she returns back to old :)
