Your analysis of enjoyability in Gravity Falls Season 1 and 2 is pretty much the same for The Owl House. Season 1 is great as you have already experienced and enjoyed and Season 2 answers the Question "How much better do we wanna make this second season?" with a "YES!"

I don't remember if you caught it, but on the flashed page right after the title screen, there's a code to look at. I don't want to say what it is just yet (i'll mention it as we get closer to the relevent episode). Or you can decrypt it yourself. ;) Code this episode though translate as follow. For the one in the credits answered with the hidden key 'SHIFTER' : WHAT KIND OF DISASTER INDEED. (Reffering to Dippers comment about a disaster that would need supplies for sixt years). And the splash page at the end with the numbers: IMPROPER USE OF MACHINERY COULD LEAD TO UTTER CATASTROPHE
