Video: How to Sew a Welt Pocket!
🕑 Added 2022-09-27 14:26:48 +0000 UTCHi, lovely patrons! As promised, here is a little welt pocket video tutorial to help you sew the Dandy Waistcoat, this month's guest artist design. We've drafted the welt and pocket pattern pieces to make this simple to sew (no guesswork!) and I'm sure this video will help you along. Welt pockets are relatively easy to sew, but hard to explain--the visuals are everything!
As I mentioned in the Dandy pattern post, we were so excited about this design that we decided to double your content and bring you a version in our standard Charm sizing. It's coming soon, and you can see a little sneak peek in the video thumbnail!

I’ve made two muslins and I am having difficulty putting it together. Unfortunately, twice, the waist darts not align nicely. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I plan to make a third muslin. I will size down again. I hope I nail it.
Will there be a video of the whole project? Because I for one is having a hard time putting this waistcoat together.
