Indeed, a view that sees only black and white in the world can be limiting! Because that way you don't see the whole picture of the world!

My political education, without a doubt. Because you can be very good at maths, biology, physics, but work for H*tler, Netanyahu, or the American government, or X, or Y, and not understand what that means. Because the biggest lesson I learned from my political education and from Marxism, is that nobody is neutral. The world is made up of permanent power struggles. And you have to position yourself in that power struggle. You can't claim to be neutral, outside of it, because it belongs to the world, and you're part of the world, you're not outside of it ( unless you're a bourgeois, and your wealth allows you to not be concerned by that, and not affected by the matter of the world. But precisely, that's a bourgeois comfort ) So if you don't take a side, say nothing, ignore something, you're not neutral, by your non-action, you're taking a side, by default, the side of the currently dominant force. Nobody is neutral. So obviously, this kind of perspective helps us to understand and apprehend the world. If you don't have that, and your brain has been washed by Marvel, Disney, or American blockbusters in general (what a coincidence) you have a dumb view of the world. Like, oh, there are good guys, and there are bad guys. Missing the point that this is factually not how the world works. So yeah, definitely, my political education, Marxism, historical materialism, all that, is the most useful topic I learned 😊 What about you ? Maybe you could answer for both you and Asuka ? That's an interesting question. I would be interested in knowing about you, and knowing about Asuka would be an interesting way of revealing a trait of her personality to me, as I don't know the character 🙂
