I love the pose, the framing, the setting, the light, which through the shadows gives such relief to your face and the scene. It's all extremely elegant, graceful and refined. Also, I always love framing where the camera seems to be posed, because it gives the impression of a real scene. The camera seems external, it's there, but it might not be, acting as a pure sensor of the world, calm and steady. This makes the scene more tangible, materially alive, and sublime. Because it gives a more universal and transcendent quality to the scene we're seeing, as if the point of view were omniscient, and not like a random tiktoker with his phone in his hand. That's why, it may seem contradictory, but tilted, closer framing, is less powerful. Because they may seem more dynamic at first glance, but they don't have that omniscient, universal, transcendent quality. Because capturing the world is magnificent, but capturing it purely, without subjectivity, objectifying it and transcending it through art, is even more magnificent, and powerful to me. Otherwise it's just anyone with a random camera Β―\_(γ)_/Β― So maybe it's not what I'm going to find the hottest, the most stimulating, or what I'll prefer for Jinx, but it's what I find the most beautiful and aesthetically interesting.
