The beginning of the Endgame
🕑 Added 2019-05-26 08:42:34 +0000 UTCAs the final version of the last Eastern front video is being rendered, I will be posting some preview snippets. This is the first of them.
Mid June 1944. In the West the Western Allies have landed in France and in the next campaign are preparing to traverse the last territories separating them from Germany. The Red Army is planning to do the same on the Eastern front. According to their maximum goal they plan to encircle and destroy half of the 3.4 million Axis forces opposing them during their movement towards the German border. How much will these plans succeed? Can say where from? I only know of the German Lage Ost maps that were uploaded. I don't know of any Soviet.

No, I actually didn't know that Glantz had an atlas. As far as I have searched, it would have been inaccessible for me anyway, so it's not a big loss. I usually work with original situation maps.
