Honestly ever since seeing Sadia'a interview on Soft White Underbelly with Orion Taraban I've had a bad taste in my mouth about both of them. Her because she seems to espouse some really toxic perspectives (like a woman in a relationship with a less attractive man will naturally come to punish him over time... what the fuck??). And Orion seems to have found that the more divisive and misogynistic things he says about women the more clicks he gets. But he's a subject for a future post.
If you watch the above video then her problematic sound bites REALLY start to make sense. She's not a psychologist, she's not even qualified to give relationship advice as a coach. She's unhealed, unhinged, and unhelpful. It feels downright unfair that she should have been given so much clout when she had nothing to show for it.
I'm posting this here because I really want to hear from yall, were you familiar with her and her accounts? Did you enjoy what she was saying? Are you shocked by this news? Are you questioning other influencers suddenly like I am?
Also in case anyone asks... I really do have my Master Public Health Degree, I really did to a year towards a doctorate at UTSPH, and I really am a published researcher, and FWIW I'm also ordained π€£ Not that anyone is asking, but I do feel like it's easy to lie about this stuff (stolen valor but make it academia?) and it's good to remind ourselves from time to time that the truth actually matters, and you don't actually need credentials to give amazing advice!!

Never heard of this person, thankfully. I am, however, not surprised. The internet is FILLED with grifters either looking to make a buck or get famous espousing nonsense. When you really sit and listen to them talk it doesn't take long before their true intentions manifest clearly. Plus, I have a pretty fine-tuned bullshit detector anyway. That's why I have been following your channel almost since its inception. Your authenticity and empathy for people are clearly evident.

So THAT'S who she is! I first caught her act via a few clips on FaceBook, who periodically offer "Reels" of various video clips on all topics. Her statements and reasonings immediately came off to me as pretentious, moot point laden BS ... and I stated as much with explanations as to why in the comments. Her fans immediately attacked....BUT COULD NOT LOGICALLY OR REALISTICALLY DEFEND HER IN LEIU OF MY CRITICISMS. When I clicked the link you provided here, I just shook my head in disbelief ... I mean, THOUSANDS for just a phone consultation?!??!! P. T. Barnum must be splitting his sides laughing in the hereafter! This is why I have GREAT RESPECT and ADMIRATION for you ... you got the papers, got the experience and "let it all (mostly) hang out" to substantiate what you do. And you ALWAYS let folk know that you are not infallible or the "word from the mount on high" on any of your topics. The only other person in your field that I follow is Marni Kinrys. While she does not have the same approach and aspects as you, I have respect and admiration for her shared journey as to how she got to where she's at (along with honesty and confidence building for her audience). I may not agree with everything you guys say, but damned if I don't get honest feedback and some things that make an old grouch like me THINK! Good on all who expose the phonies and the grifters and those with base negative teachings in this area. Keep on keep on, good lady.
