Naw just a trailer. Wouldn't read too much into it until RedHook puts the word out. That is just as likely to be trailer cinematics . Honestly I am more turned off with it being yet another title Epic Games gobbled up. We'll see. Not going to cry over it. Got plenty of awesome mod content for DD1 ;)

A lot of modders put off making their mods for the first game so they could just make them for the second it would some lousy irony if they'd have to do it for the first game game anyways cause they can't really make them for the second because it's so different. (*・～・*)

I'd say don't worry about it yet until more info drops. It's getting really tough to anticipate 2D or 3D from trailers in some games nowadays. This one could go either way since it's fairly common to use the flashier style for trailers and cinematics, regardless of what the game itself uses.

most ppl think real in game will not 3d but if i see first part of trailer boss monsters also seems like 3d models.

Dont worry. Its seams only semi-3d. Meaning its like 50%chance game will be 2d.

I honestly doubt it will be 3D. This was probably just done for the effect in the teaser. We have not seen anything from the actual game yet 🤔 At least I hope so...
