It's completely understandable for you to be worried over that, I can't imagine that canonically stating something so defining of a character to be easy. I personally think you made the right call and support your decision. Till next time, bye👋

As with most anything, there's always a subset people who don't necessarily agree with or will be offended by it. However, it is still up to you and what you want since this is ultimately your artwork and therefore I suggest you go with what you're happiest with. Moreover, considering your main audience, or what I, from my little corner of the world, perceive to be your main audience, I wouldn't be overly concerned about it as they will most likely be accepting of it. With that being said, if you are concerned about potentially offending some, and have another piece of dialogue in mind, then I'd suggest changing it. The choice is ultimately yours, don't be afraid to make the wrong one! PS I'm personally fine with it.
