Not to bring the mood further down, but as someone who’s seen the show, I’d think I’d be better to drop the show and go with something else because later on there are entire episodes where it’s just girls bathing and stuff like that.

Just joined the community here and I don’t know if it’s been discussed either here or on the Discord, but I would advise that you watch the end credit scenes of each episode if you haven’t been already. Many of them are very plot relevant.

I have seen the whole show already, and while it does get weird when they eat the prepared dishes if you stick with it long enough the actually plot of the show is really good in my opinion (still weirdly horny though)

Nobody has said it here and tbh I'm too lazy to go through the comments of the first video, but the mangaka of food wars started off as a doujin artist which is why there's alot of the more... mature material in there. It also is why there's significantly more male sexualization than a typical shounen. That being said, the main draw of the series is still the titular "shokugeki" so skipping certain scenes is understandable
