I'm on the opposite side of things. If it turns out that Gabimaru's back story is a fabrication, I will be so upset. Yes, it would be a unique and interesting twist, but this man is fighting through actual hell to get back to his wife. He so deserves a happy ending.

this was definitely one of those animes that I thought to myself, “How the heck am I supposed to wait for season two… I’ll just read the manga”, and then I binged the manga for two days and let me tell you, it’s this hype until the end. Such a good storytelling, I wanna read it again.

Hope Danny goes back to posting anime reaction content on YouTube too, I am quiet sad that new ones only come out once a month on patreon right now. I think you missed the after credit scene. Other than that, great reaction. I too am sad that this show got swallowed up. It just came out an unfortunate time. Hopefully Season 2 will get more hype through it.

I advocate for this show constantly. I've watched the anime 2x and read the books. There really aren't that many chapters too. This story is short (will be 3 seasons imo) I absolutely love it!

As a non-manga reader, I gave the ending way too little credit. I really did want gabimaru to just be a wife guy. It's wayyyy cooler that he 1) forgets this and 2) she could just not be real
