Funnily enough, I expected to do this much earlier.

Honestly, I don't blame anyone but myself for either but also, to be fair, I expected that would have to be done much earlier.
If you had no problems with the chapter or don't want spoilers please, move on. Ask specific things and I can give specific answers and even clarity some stuff. As I said before you are the bosses and while I won't change the story for anyone, unless with very good arguments, I feel obligated to explain or help understand in anyway possible.
While avoiding spoilers, I hate those.
Oh well, to the points raised on more recent reviews, first and foremost the frustration in the fight; it was supposed to be like this and while I tried to translate the fight as best as I could the fact is that Zolgen isn't really a combatant. No version of him really is and his versatility comes from the familiars he manages to get. Besides that he is a sea of insects on a loop and directly replying to one of you he is one of the originals sea of insect in a loop.
No joke Zolgen or Zolken is one of the original villans of Fate Stay Night and arguabily the most problematic one since it isn't Shirou, or Saber, or Rin, or Kirei who kills him. It is Sakura, the tool he tried to create and control only to go out of control. Is he alive, yes he is, it is suppose to be obvious exacly because not everyone knows about him. Not everyone played the game or watched Heaven's Feel yet.
Also no, he isn't ressurecting Ancestors, they aren't around. Well, not all of them are connected to Gaia so those can be around in a way or another but for the most part the tittle just refers to a certain types of vampire. And they aren't what Zolgen is messing with and there is a clue on the story of what he is doing.
Here is the hint and main spoiler of this Katerea isn't herself anymore. More details later.
About UBW's manistation, Altria had no choice but to chose between trusting Shirou or risk innocent lives and she had time to accumulate and focus enough power on Ruler, as well put, the equivalent of a city's, to make sure the Order would go beyond Shirou's limits and would definitively work if he didn't fight back.
That was his plan and a way to unlock his Reality Marble early because otherwise it would take years and a thing he always had in the back of his mind since he first saw Ruler after fighting Vali.
Also notice that once UBW is out Zolgen is completely overwhelmend and while he could survive inside Shirou's World he couldn't really do anything. There was no escaping, no counterattacking and no winning. He just didn't have chance so long as Rias kept pumping Shirou with mana.
The white streak, if you read, was something familiar to Rias because 'outside of screen' Shirou has been abusing his body, to no one's surprise. It just revealed itself because of the mana and Ki circulating in his body once inside UBW. There he is truly at his strongest.
But back to Zolgen or Zolken before I finish this; of all three villans of Stay Night he is by far the more mounstrous and the most symphatetic once you know his whole backstory. Sure does horrible things but a theme we are going to get into the next chapter is the concept of good man doing evil and evil man doing good.
One certain member of clergy will also make his first appearance as he is also complicated individual who I can't wait to write.
Anyhow this took a while to writte and I hope I put several of your doubts to bed. If I didn't then the story will eventually but let me say this, this arc isn't over because Zolgen is out, there is still one little thing to do which will be also the conclusion of a previous arc: Caliburn is about to be reborn and Altria's intentions will be more clearn.

Thanks for asking and here are some answers: first, we aren't going to add much more from the Nasuverse, I decided to strickly stay with Fate and not put anything else for several reasons including to avoid redundancy. Second, yes, he has UBW open but mana is still the issue. Third, Ascension is technically a DxD power up and it still has ways to go. Fourth, we aren't having Unlimited Lost Works, sorry.

Thank you for the post to alleviate some concerns. Frankly, I feel like you’re doing a good job, so don’t worry too much. I will admit, like I left in my comment on the newest chapter, the Zolgen fight was a little lacking, not in who they’re fighting, but more or less the writing itself, but I can see that it was intentional. I appreciate the post for the others, because I am very familiar with fate and DxD so I don’t really have a problem with any details or whatnot, but it helps for clarification with the other readers. My biggest question I have for you at this point, if you can answer or not, is what is the extent you plan to go with this story? Is this universe going to be having content from “Notes”, “Kara no Kyoukai”, “Tsukihime”, FGO, Fate/Extra, and the like? And more or less for Shirou, your post said that Ruler was supposed to forcibly awaken his reality marble, does that mean he has it permanently now (I said in last comment that Reality marble did feel kinda early, so is there a reason for that?)? And how far do you plan to develop his powers? Are you going to give him some DxD powers, or can we expect his powers to stay closer to what we see in canon: Emiya, Emiya Alter, Muramasa, etc. With what you’ve been doing so far, I’m liking the development of Shirou, but I do hope you play around with the reality marble so we see the development of something like Unlimited Lost Works and Tsumukairi Muramasa. More spoilers? You know it's really fun to be on the reader's side and theorize what will happen. If the horse is behind or in front of the carriage, it should be my problem. I think every reader is different and has his thoughts. Some might even think that Rizevim would bring the creatures of the New DxD dimension and that was fine or the arrival of the Aliens. If you have read the reviews long before Patreon you should know that there even had a theory of how the gods came to this "Age of Wonders" thinks they are like headcannos. They shouldn't really hurt the structure of the story. Regarding the dragons. I thought Artoria would have her own bow fighting with Raimundo.

It is fine but if you have doubts that you want answered in the story this is the part that I must say 'let me cook'. Those things take time unless you want the characters to spend a whole chapter going through a checklist.

There is plenty to be said about what is set up and what is not but jumping towarsds Ancestors as a solution is putting the horse infront of the carriage because there are many other creatures who wouldn't mind helping Rizevim. Not even talking about dragons but that depends on the rules imposed by the world and history.

Hard not too considering some of your points. You wanted a timeline where there isn't any and if I don't do this then people will read your comment and have the same doubts. This is the best way to put it all to bed. Besides, can anyone guess exacly what was going on with what I wrote here?

I think you should edit or delete this. You know it's good that you respond to the issue of UBW and Zolgen but the rest is left over or you're practically giving too many spoilers.
