Small update, I installed AltServer to my windows PC and it installed AltStore fine and AltStore opens. So my "couldn't communicate with helper application" is something Mac related that I don't know how to fix. So the patch worked for me on Windows with iOS 14.3, but did not work from my MacBook running 10.14.6. Though the issue isn't crashing on the MacBook, its the "helper application" issue. Edit: So AltStore installed ok when I used AltServer on my windows PC, but now when I try to install Delta or Delta-Beta it gives me the "couldn't communicate with helper application" error in AltStore. I have no idea how to fix this issue. If anyone does know please let me know.

My AltServer is presenting an error now that says "Couldn't communicate with a helper application." whenever I try to install AltStore to my phone. I've tried deleting AltServer from my MacBook, reinstalling that and the mail plug-in, deleting AltStore from my phone and rebooting both while they were deleted and the error persists.

Alright so for those who it won't work for Reboot your iphone (With altstore removed) Delete altserver off your PC normally with control panel uninstall. Then, go to C drive, program files, and delete altserver. Then go to recycling bin and delete it again there. Reboot your PC. Reinstall the alt server beta with the attached files Riley sent. Then sideload again and it should work. Got this comment from someone else just re-iterating it since it seems to work.

Update: Had to remove Apps completely, reboot, create a new AppleID (add this to Accounts&Passwords as a second account on the mac) and reinstall everything. Don‘t know why my primary account won’t work. 🤷‍♂️

Just tried doing this as my Altstore refresh had expired, deleted everything including the old device management certificate, and the app just crashes upon launch after trusting the new certificate, iPhone 12 Pro Max, 14.4

Short update, deleted AltStore on iPhone,rebooted. Removed altserver from windows,deleted the folder under c:/program data. Rebooted Reinstalled AltStore with altserver. Installed xxx.ipa. NOW it works again :-)

the older Dec 17th launch of Altserver 1.5 actually worked for me even though the mail plugin was "unrecognized". where as this newer one just won't even launch in my ios14.4 with a working mail plugin.

Btw when I checked after installing it manually from this beta version I noticed my version hadn’t changed when I checked for update so guys I recommend checking if it has because if not then the issue isn’t with the fix patch but instead with an incorrect link being posted which is an easily made mistake especially with everyone giving him a lot of pressure

I downloaded the updated the beta, but can't even install to my phone, getting error message "Couldn’t communicate with a helper application try your operation again. If that fails, quit and relaunch the application and try again." It wasn't doing that on the previous version. iPhone XR iOS 14.2

Had to reinstall AltServer on Windows to get it working along with all my apps, but it seems to work well after that. All apps launch now 👍 (iOS 14.3 on iPhone 12 Pro)

I received a warning that installing AltStore would revoke my Apple Developer ID. Is this true? I am holding off installing until I hear back. I did update AltServer already, and it did allow me to refresh my apps with AltStore 1.4.2b1. Please let me know if it's safe to update to 1.4.3b1 without revoking my Developer ID. Thank you.
