Delta 1.3.1b: AltJIT + missing game artwork fix
🕑 Added 2021-11-17 22:34:53 +0000 UTCI realize it's been a while since the last Delta beta, so I'm excited to share that Delta 1.3.1b is now available — a short-but-sweet update with some timely changes 🎉
⚡️ Primarily, in preparation for the impending public release of AltJIT, I've now added AltJIT support directly to Delta! When enabled in the melonDS core settings, Delta will now automatically enable JIT for DS games when on the same WiFi as AltServer, which will unlock much better emulation performance (such as doubling the Fast Forward speed from 1.5x to 3x). Even better, you don't need to remain on WiFi to continue using JIT — once JIT is enabled, it remains enabled until the app is removed from memory (either by the system in the background, or manually by you in the app switcher).
Unlike some other sideloaded apps, AltJIT is also not required for Delta to work. This means you can continue using Delta as always without worrying about being near a computer, but if you do happen to be on the same WiFi as AltServer, you'll automatically receive the benefits of JIT without even thinking about it 🙌
🖼 Secondly, as several of you have noticed, some time during the past week Delta appeared to stop fetching cover artwork for your games. It turns out this was due to a host change by the image provider we use, so I've now updated Delta's internal game database with corrected image URLs. Just update Delta to this new beta from within AltStore, and your precious game artwork will return automatically 👌
✉️ On a separate note: there has been a substantial increase in the number of support messages I've been receiving lately, including the comments on these posts. While I do try my best to read through your comments, my primary support channels are through Patreon Direct Messages or the AltStore Discord. This is because I receive too many messages in general across Email/Twitter/Reddit/Patreon to individually respond to them all, but by prioritizing just these two channels I can (mostly) remain on top of support. For Patreon DMs I do my best to respond within a few days, but in general the AltStore Discord is by far the quickest and most efficient way to receive support. There we have an incredible team of active volunteer helpers who are happy to answer any questions you have, which means you'll likely receive an answer before I even have a chance to check the various #support channels!

Install AltStore (normally) then click Settings -> Join Beta -> Follow instructions to pair accounts. Once paired you will see AltStore (Beta) in the Browse section. Install it, then uninstall the Normal one - Login with developer account and away you go! Once in the beta, you can install beta delta like any other app.

I mean, it “works”, but it isn’t syncing the data I have backed up on Dropbox from my previous Delta installation on iOS 13-14. It either hangs syncing the last file forever or crashes. I can manually add games and such all over again, but I lose all my save progress and previous game libraries.

Does Delta 1.3.1b work on iOS 15? Previous releases of Delta do not and I have been praying for an update that will work on iOS 15 for a wile now. Also, where is the download for 1.3.1b?

Agreed, if there was any way to prioritize one of the game screens on the DS emulator that would be sweet. Also, optimized for iPad full screen would be amazing.
