Delta 1.4b1: Delta, meet iPad!

You read that right: today’s Patreon update is a new Delta beta fully optimized for iPad, including some beautiful new iPad-specific skins! This means Delta can FINALLY take full advantage of your iPad's big, beautiful display — all the way from the 7.9" iPad mini to the 12.9" iPad Pro! We have big plans for the iPad version of Delta, so please keep in mind this is just the first beta; additional iPad-exclusive features such as Split View multitasking and Focus Engine support will being coming in future betas. That being said, we know there hasn’t been a meaningful update to Delta in a while, so we really wanted to release this beta ASAP; hopefully it'll somewhat make up for delay 😉
We plan to redesign all existing controller skins for iPad, and this first beta includes initial iPad redesigns for NES, SNES, and DS controller skins (which look AMAZING). The remaining systems are currently using temporary controller skins based on the existing iPhone skins, but we plan to update them all with iPad-specific designs over the next few betas. In general though, we strongly recommend using a keyboard or game controller with Delta on iPad, and can confirm both options work great with this beta 😊

• Uses modern menu UI when importing games
• Updated icon for "Copy Deep Link" action when sharing a game

• Fixed keyboard support on iOS 15+
• Fixed invisible "Games" navigation bar + toolbar on iOS 15+
• Fixed error sharing games via certain share methods
• Fixed exporting save files for games with names containing special characters
• Fixed UI bug where previous game controller would remaining selected after switching
• Fixed game controller input mapping UI on iPad
• Fixed crash when importing games on iPad
• Fixed crash when sharing games on iPad
This is an update we have been SUPER excited to share with you all, so we hope you enjoy it! We want to make the iPad version of Delta a best-in-class iPad app, so please let us know what you'd like to see most and we'll do our best to add as much as possible 🎉

Any fix coming for setting the thumbsticks with an xbox controller? Default values work fine, but any attempt at setting it manually only shows L🕹< or R🕹>. Up and down never register properly. Controller works fine with N64 roms with default values, but can't change them to anything else for any controller type.
I cant import games to delta using either dropbox or google drive it crashes after

Delta 1.3.1 and Delta Beta 1.4b1 both don't let you import games or save files from Files. Anyone else actually able to use that feature? I can't only import by drag and drop to the phone via cable and then using import from iTunes option in Delta.

Does anyone else have the same problem of the Delta iPad app crashing when trying to bring up the rom menu to rename it or change its artwork?

I’m having some trouble when using an Xbox controller on my iPad and playing goldeneye. Some issues with THPS2 as well but not nearly as much. It won’t let me reassign up or down on the right analog!

Is it possible to connect and use more than 1 controller at a time? Would love to play some Mario Kart with my friends on the ipad or screen mirror my phone to the tv for the full experience.

I ended up going into Altstore and clearing out the previous Delta (ipac) version, then installing the Delta beta from Alt and it is the iPad version!
