Delta 1.6b2 - melonDS Update (No More BIOS!)

We have another Delta update for everyone today, this time with some big improvements for iPad and DS fans.
For our dual-screen gamers, DS is getting a major upgrade by updating melonDS to v0.9.5 🍉 This improves compatibility with a number of DS titles as well as overall performance. And as a bonus for new users, this version of melonDS no longer requires you to provide BIOS files — DS is now playable as soon as you install Delta! This would not be possible without the work of Arisotura, and you can view their work here or donate to their Patreon.
WARNING: Previous DS save states will no longer be compatible, so we advise saving normally in-game before updating.
Oh, and that’s not all - for our GameBoy users, you can also enjoy another new DS feature and “insert” your GBA carts into the DS! Long-press any DS game and you’ll now be able to choose which GBA game you want inserted. This allows you to use the DS dual-slot feature for things like transferring Pokemon between generations ❇️ ➡️ 💎
And for those of you who like to do multiple things at once, we’ve added support for multiple windows on iPad. Play all our systems simultaneously, and Delta will automatically handle pausing and switching the controller between games. If one game going wasn’t enough for you, now you can run multiple games at once — create your own version of the Nintendo Championship and see how fast you can complete a series of different games back to back!
And last but not least, something every true zoomer will appreciate: we've increased the Fast Forward speed for all DS games. If you’re really in a hurry — or you’re like Shane and can’t imagine playing Pokemon at default speed — you can now play up to 3x as fast 🏎️ 🏎️ 🏎️

There's AltStore and AltStore PAL, PAL is EU only and has, afaict, different setup steps.

was not able to login using Google and Facebook to Patreon. Only via Apple. So I had to buy a few subscriptions. But that’s not a problem. The problem for me is that app does not work anyway. I press install and nothing happens.

Thank you guys so much for all of the hard work, really appreciate it... Delta is so polished compared to other apps on the market. The one thing I *really* hope can be worked on is a native Apple TV app. It's wonderful that iPad support is (publicly) coming soon, and the iOS app was a wonder on my flight last week... so many people stopped me and asked me how to do it... maybe it's the older Millennial in me, but the one thing missing from this ecosystem is the desire to just sit down and pick up a controller and natively play on my TV.

Delta Sync with dropbox doesn’t work for me, it gets stuck with “Uploading 3 of 55” then crashes. But google drive works fine.

Am I the only Altstore PAL user where downloads don’t work anymore for Delta Beta and Clip? The Dialoge from Apple doesn’t pop up to allow me to install it. I unlinked and relinked my Patreon, restarted my devices etc. Having to use Altstore Pal starts to feel like a sick joke to me. The Altstore app is super buggy (thinks apps are installed when they are not, crashes etc.), the FAQ and documentation are confusing, incomplete or wrong. In the end I always come back to just signing the ipa myself with my dev certificate. 🙄

I have delta for my iPhone with all my games that I saved from emu paradise A plus a lot of the games are from chips they come from those multi carts for handhelds like the Game Boy DS and all that, but playing certain games on the iPhone it’s a pain I don’t have a backbone for my phone I hooked up a Xbox one controller but it doesn’t work proper

You can go for a workaround: after connecting your controller, set Player 2 controls to Touch screen and your skin appears again 😊 would be nice to have a setting for keeping this persistent
