My dear patrons ...
🕑 Added 2020-01-30 19:17:29 +0000 UTCVersion 3 was a big release from my point of view. Getting it working with all the connectors was basically required for legal reasons. But it also helped to create a clean interface to Voukoder making it easy to add Voukoder support to other progams like VirtualDub 2 ;) (or any other program).
It might seem that not much is happening at moment. Well, it just seems like that, but ...
- I am in contact with companies like Intel, NVIDIA and Magix to improve my development situation (Still trying to get a replacement for my broken Ice Lake laptop to get AVX512 working)
- Still trying to get a contact at AMD to improve the situation and performance on AMD systems.
- Fixing lots of small bugs for the next release.
I also think about ...
- Getting a really 'pro' looking user interface in the next version (No more windows-ui!)
- Getting a nice looking website
- Writing more connectors for more programs/NLEs
and finally implement new features like user presets with import and export functionality.
Funding all of this is another difficult task. I'd really like to take a day off per week from my regular job and spend that day entirely on Voukoder or get some modern dev equipment to support and test new processors and gpus.
But I am very glad for having you guys as my patrons. You are awesome and your support is really helpful and appreciated for getting Voukoder to the next level.
As always: If you have questions or need support with the Voukoder feel free to contact me here, in the forum or on twitter.
Thanks,
Daniel

Bummer. ๐ Yeah my current workflow is to export a super-high bitrate master copy, then transcode to my delivery formats with ffmpeg. I'd love to use Voukoder to save a step!

Yeah, that's what I'd love to do most. Resolve is so popular. But getting in contact with BM was not successful so far.

Great to hear! My connector request is Blackmagic Design Davinci Resolve.
