Stephen King's IT
🕑 Added 2017-08-18 04:35:59 +0000 UTC Hey guys, just thought I'd share a random update with you. I'm working on the script for IT right now, and if you've been to enough livestreams you may know that the script-writing phase is my least-favorite part of writing a Kill Count, just because it takes so much time and energy. You can edit when you're not in the mood to edit; you can't really write when you're not in the mood to.And BOY am I not in the mood to. But I can't stop because, just 40 minutes into this 3 hour epic, I'm already coming to terms with a fact: This is going to have to be two episodes. I think I'll release them Thurs/Fri, pretty much back-to-back. Maybe Wed/Fri to give the first episode more room to breathe? I don't know. Let me know your thoughts!
But yeah, no way can I fit this thing in under 16 minutes and YouTube's algorithm don't like videos that are longer than that. So you're all the first to know, as my wonderful supporters, that in two weeks you'll get a double dosage of Kill Count. Hope you enjoy it much MUCH more than I enjoy writing the script. Because I hate it.

Well look on the bright side, the remake will be shorter.

Keep up the good work and power through James! ð

Yeah I can tell you and your girlfriend look so different and it's funny cos everything I've watched you in has a counter ð from drink counter to kill counter
Dead Meat
Yeah Bambi is the last one before we start having guests on! God that was so long ago - literally 4 years ago now. Insane. But I hope other DM fans do the same thing and watch DD during the week as they wait for new KCs!

Awesome James! Can't wait!
Jack Carroll
Cool good to know last one I watched was bambi I love watching them so I have something to watch while waiting for kill count ð
Dead Meat
Dude thanks for checking out Practical Folks! If you liked the first few episodes of DD make sure you keep watching, they get SO SO SO much better - my editing REALLY involves and all of us get a lot better at riffing on the movies. I think some of the turning points for the series are Robin Hood and then Hocus Pocus and Black Cauldron

Oh boy 2 vids in one week a glimpse to the future ð but I reckon Wednesday and Friday is better it'll get us excited. And btw I love drunk Disney on your other channel I watched the first few episodes yesterday

I think the wed/fri split would be a little better. Spread out the Dead Meat goodness!

*puts up a dart\knife board up with Pennywise's face as the image* I' also give you whiskey as normal, but throwing sharp\pointy objects & alcohol not a good combo.

This is great news! Keep working on the vids and soon enough you can leave that job!

I agree with pretty much everyone else. Wed/Fri is probably the best way to go. Your work is amazing, and I can't wait to see the way this ends up!
Danielle Thompson
This is great! Sorry it makes you crazy but it makes me so happy. I like Wed/Fri personally. You're doing a great job!
Nate Guerra
Nice! I'm looking forward to it!

I like Wed/Fri. Thank you so much for your hard work, and thank you to your girlfriend, and kitty, for sharing you with us! :)

You got this, man! Excited for the video :)
Diego
Yeah man just do wed/fri and keep up the good work!

I think it's a great idea considering that the original was a two-parter for the TV movie. Wednesday Friday is great because we always love having it early and 2 days early even better.

I think a wed/fri release would be good. I'm excited for it!

Good decision! Can't wait for both! Wish you all the best and hope it doesn't make you too nuts :)
