New Patreon Charging System
🕑 Added 2017-12-08 01:56:50 +0000 UTC Hey y'all, I think by now Patreon has emailed you with their new system regarding pledge charges. They hit up the creators yesterday so I've had an extra day to wonder why they're doing this.Apparently in an effort to help out the "creators", like me, they're now passing on a processing fee and whatnot to the patrons. They say it's so creators can keep more of the money pledged but I think it sucks. I'd rather you guys keep more of your money, I'm fine paying that fee.
Long story short: This means that your pledges will be slightly more than what they were. A $1/month pledge is now more than $1 (still less than $2, but still). Again, I think this is idiotic, and if anyone needs to adjust their pledges to lower levels to better suit themselves financially, don't feel bad, I understand and support you.
