How come is still censored

Ever since Hereditary was KC'd this was a must. Ari Aster kills the aspect of horror through abnormal methods

BlackstarMBV

I mean the part where they killed outsiders is absolutely murder and they absolutely indoctrinated Dani. It's absolutely a friggin' cult. What about that isn't "villainous"?

PostModernPrometheus

lmao It's absolutely murder

Jen McCown

Oh man, that was SUCH A GOOD KILL COUNT. I'm so glad James decided to do Midsommar, it's my favorite.

I go back and forth on how I would react to the elders jumping like that. I’d probably be horrified. But, I’m not entirely on board with the thought of them “cult” being villains. Yes, the definitely murdered innocents like the couple. But to them, this is gospel (still talking about a non fictional world) so is it murder? To the society considered “normal” or “mainstream” sure it’s murder. But in that setting, to those who live there and by honoring what they know to be the only way of life….. it’s not murder.

This gave a glimpse of hair-down James! lol I think it would probably be a good look. Loved the kill count. Keep it up Flak!

Marcus Conerly

Yet another I've never seen and as “spoiled” as I may be now, want to watch it more! Thanks, James!

Man, that head smash from the mallet scene was juicy. Gotta love being able to see the explicit kill counts!

Pete Fitchett

I haven’t actually seen Hereditary yet but have seen Midsommar possibly because it looked a bit like The Whicker Man in the trailers which I enjoyed the original version of immensely and while there are obviously some similarities it was different enough to keep me interested. Some very disturbing moments at times but still a fascinating watch and one I will probably go back to rewatch some day.

Rachel Denham-White

I'd love to see a cut comparison of this film. One of the most haunting shots in the entire movie is left out of the theatrical release, where there's some implied mutilation to fit Christian in the bear costume. It freaks me out every time.

Kaz Brookes

I couldn’t do that either! 😂 I had to copy the video URL in the end. Thanks for your help 👍🏼

Jaime Cortes

Loved this movie, was recommended from a friend & Ari Aster made a perfect job directing this film IMO.

Kara Bond

Welp. Guess it's time for another Midsommar rewatch!

Jason Andreoni

I am so goddamn excited for this. Midsommar was one of my favorite movies of 2019.

Gavin Barkauskas

Click on the actual title and it’ll take you to YouTube and it should work

Gavin Barkauskas

This shit won’t load wtf

ClaricexRipley

Can't wait to watch it after work!

Kaz Brookes

Thanks Gavin. That sucks but at least i know it’s not my phone now.

Gavin Barkauskas

It won’t let me watch either

Kaz Brookes

Why can’t i get this video to play?

Castiel The best angle

This is one of the movies I’m very glad I got Parton for

Dani F

This was an interesting movie to watch because we have the same name, but the relationship between them was too real :(

Chelsey Lin

The way dani and Christians toxic relationship is portrayed and the gas lighting he does to her is so realistic to watch especially if you have been in a relationship like that. I have and I remember I first watched this movie and started crying just watching Dani apologize at parts where she doesn’t need to apologize cause it reminded me of being back in that place. Florence is so good in this movie it literally gives me chills!

Katie McGrath

yaaaas the ultimate "good for her" movie. can't wait to get the May Queen tatt'd on me! 😄

randiieliza03

I haven’t found a movie that bothered me yet but if there’s anything that gets me close it’s this movie for sure

Dacobjeren

Let’s goooo

JamesLikeWrestling13
