I do enjoy the "kill count" aspect of your vids but I also rly enjoy hearing about how the movies were made and lore
Matthew Hayden
Both created and lived in the cringe/uncomfy pit in my stomach but, yep since it’s coming back to me now definitely the bath was the weirdest. Seeing these films less than two years ago for the first time still having the same powerfully uneasy energy. Cinema gotta love it
A.J Taylor
right, I now recall. Works for me
Charchrash
Here for all of it james, so whatever YOU want to do WE will be here to support it, do what makes you happy and we are gonna love it.
Roman Gunter
Yeah, same here. The kill counting is kind of the icing on the cake for me
Roman Gunter
There's also a German remake from 1979 directed by Werner Herzog and starring Klaus Kinski that's also really good. So James should also cover that one sometime before he does Robert Egger's remake
A.J Taylor
If you're doing the original Nosferatu next week, then I can assume you'll be looking at Robert Eggers' remake next year... Probably will take you many months but I'll happily wait.

If I just wanted to know the kills of a movie, I would be subscribed to a different channel lol. No amount of counting kills will bring me the joy and laughter that you bring with all your jokes, insights and bts content you add to the KC James :)
Lina Bariani
I'm 100% here mostly for the "and tell you how they were made" part of the channel.
Jordan Wyman
I have always come to the kill count for the bts information + the dead meat team's opinions on them. I have found so many movies to watch and have appreciated those I didn't care for just because of yall's work!

Tubby time is in my nightmares.

Made my day james🔥💯

What about a new series called something like “The Unkill count” it tells the viewer two things 1: the premise of the show is the same as the kill count 2: These will be movies we’re there isn’t a single kill. Maybe start with a movie like 1408 or the conjuring would be good test.
Gage Tolin
Kills are cool. But I really like hearing how the movies were made and how ingenious certain effects are. It's why my favorite Kill Count episodes are for more lesser known horror films that happened to have some neat practical vfx in them
Ryan Ryanson
I care more about the "how they were made" side of the kill count, but I think kills are important if they were done in interesting ways (good practical effects etc) I think the way the show is structured works but open to see changes made if tthat's what you're feeling
Jennifer Alice
Strangeland needs to be reintroduced to the newer generation of horror fans! With an awesome cast including Robert Englund, Dee Snyder, Linda Cardellini, and several other horror (& kill count) vets it's begging to be revisited.
Ealena Rodgers
I will say that it did make me sad to only see 1 kill as I kept waiting for a second one. I don’t have any problem with it though! my suggestion would be signs or poltergeist if we’re doing 1-0 kill counts now too!

Would you guys be able to make a video talking about the current video game actors strike? Currently SAG voice actors are seeking protections from AI similar to the strike from last year. I haven't been seeing any discussions about it and I think it may not be as known and as supported as the one from last year. What spured my digging was that Activision (one of the struck companies) recast the majority of the main cast in their COD zombies mode some who had been apart of the games for over 10 years. Sorry if I'm approaching you guys in the wrong way, I just thought with you guys talking about the strikes last year you would be more knowledgeable on the subject. this was a really fun kill count and hope that you would be open to more one kill movie. also is this the first count with the same kill getting the golden chainsaw and dull machete?
Moderately Dinosaur
I think this might be my favorite to the numbers bit. (Also this movie and the sequel are two of the very very few movies that genuinely scared me as an adult.)

I guess I’d be cool with a zero or 1 kill count. For me personally this franchise was a bad idea to execute the idea but I guess I’m in the minority when i say I can’t stand these movies.

I mean, James, if you count the kills in a movie and get 0, you still counted the kills. BRING ON POLTERGEIST
Sofia
I’m totally okay with including movies that have no kills, like the Conjuring franchise or something. They’re still horror movies and I think they deserve to be highlighted on the show
Eric
Joseph is just mad that he didn't win The Shiva.
Lee
I’m a little surprised James was too scared to finish it, granted alcohol was involved, but still lol cracks me up!
JD
The whole time I was like, "Wait.. is there a second kill in this movie I'm not remembering?" I'm here for Dead Meat. I would love to see horror movies covered with 1 or 0 kills. Though, I am a stats guy myself. I love the "To the numbers" bits and even if there are no kills or 1 kill, I love seeing what other movies have the same stat. But more than anything, I want to see you guys get excited about covering something you guys like! So I'm game for whatever!
Roderick Cummings
Not I wanna see an Annabelle kill count
Roderick Cummings
So re-count Cabin the woods?
Phoequinox
While I am all for kill-less episodes, the pedant in me winces at the title not actually meaning anything. Maybe go the "Capture Count" route where those episodes are called something different? The Scare Count? Kill-Free Count? Stage Frights? Whatever the case, I'm in.
MC Dexpo
If you ever do a movie where there are no kills at all, you absolutely HAVE to do the polar opposite of it where the Earth blows up and there's 8 billion kills
Michał Stan
I’m all in for the idea of kill-less Kill Counts. After years of watching you it’s easy to see how much you all love and respect horror and horror is not necessarily fountains of blood and gore. Slow burners, psychological twists, amazing acting, so many things can make a great horror with absolutely no kills. And your insight to behind the scenes stuff is amazing!
MC Dexpo
I genuinely think the better twist would have been that Aaron was in fact the crazy one, and kills Joseph
rufus
I dont care if it has kills please drop that rule there are so many cool horror movies without kills like the babadook or the conjuring.
Cyera.fx
Kill counts without kills are a great idea. A movie can be plenty scarry even if nobody dies! And it would be even more interesting to see how scares were made
Vulgar Latin
I would say to do the movies you want to do. I'm not interested in the kills as much as I am the behind the scenes info and jokes.
Jeff Purdy
The kill counts with zero kills will just be easier to count. I’m sure the team would appreciate not breaking down scenes figuring out how many background bodies there are!
Elijah Medellin
tbh im here for the kills and find out how they were made no kills kill counts doesnt rlly make sense to me personally
Michael Palma
lol James is such a thoughtful man. Every Friday a new episode is out, today is episode 5
Taiwana
Lol guess I just had to wait 2 minutes and let James do his job and let me know 🤣
Taiwana
Is that series already avaliable? Where can I find it?
Straightedge47
I don't really care if a movie doesn't have many kills, as long as the videos stay entertaining it doesn't matter to me.
Sean (Manzington)
No way this is awesome!
Michael Palma
Yes finally!!! Who else is loving the Creep tv show?
