Incredible sequel! I specifically waited until this week when my tv provider had it available to watch before I watched its Kill Count (it’s the only way to have your own properly formed opinion after all) Everything I’ve heard about the upcoming third one in interviews etc sounds like things could get even more insane and I’m so here for it! That opening scene to get to the title card and the bloodstained smile from the crash is phenomenal

I came to the same consensus with my friend that James came to. Characters like Gemma and Morris were entirely demon constructed hallucinations but the events of the film actually were taking place up until the dancers swarm her. It’s not coincidental that the demons possession corresponds with it crawling inside its victim

It feels weird, I love everything about Smile 2 more than Smile, but I think Smile 1 was scarier.

I absolutely LOVED Smile, and I agree Smile 2 was even better! The only thing I felt held it back is that just TOO much was unreal. Like, more than half the movie was all in her head?? Just weakens the impact for me. At the very least, the first evening with Gemma should have stuck, only switching to 'fake Gemma' for the car ride. It would have been at least one ray of light at the end of Skye's ride!

I love this movie. The original smile is fucking awesome and even though a sequel really wasn’t necessary, I was still very excited. I like Naomi Scott so when I heard she was starring in the sequel I was even more excited and the pop star element was awesome because I love music. It did not disappoint. It’s an insane movie and I’m so excited for smile 3. There is so much potential from the ending and Parker Finn has proven he is an incredible horror director.

As for when the whole thing stopped being real, I believe it was pretty early on, as near the beginning, sky talks about how much she hates the butterfly-based outfit and that she refuses to wear it, yet at the very end, she's on stage in that very costume. This leads me to believe that the conversation about it never happened at all. Love this movie!
