I agree with you. I don’t think I would have convicted him either. The gleefulness of the jury disturbed me. I will always leave my mind open for new information and theories in every case. The Rocha family has been through so much. This must be an excruciating development for them.

I’m the minority here. I definitely think he was a crappy husband, but I don’t think the state proved beyond a reasonable doubt 😳 I spiraled on this case and there’s some questionable things he did for sure but there’s a lot of loose ends that I don’t think his defense attorney did a good job on presenting. I think if he would have had a better attorney he would’ve got off. He made poor choices as a man and husband, but I personally couldn’t convict him based off what I know about the case. Which sucks because I don’t think the cops did a very good job either. I feel so badly for Laci and her family, I couldn’t imagine.
