Storm Chase May 19
🕑 Added 2024-05-19 17:00:09 +0000 UTCGood afternoon Patrons,
The Convective Allowing Models (CAMS) have been consistently resolving a strong outflow dominant windstorm in Kansas with a possible discrete supercell in Oklahoma. I’m taking the latter bait hook, line and sinker.
Looks like we’re entering another round of active weather.

Thanks again to all those checking in on us Houstonians in the chat section here. Our loved ones and property are OK. Still no power in my neighborhood but It’s been nice to see what folks faces look like when not bottom lit by a device.
Good luck Conga line chasers!

Nasty storm today. Got some garbage shots of a big tornado. The RFD was laying down power lines and trees. Good storm to not be aggressive with. Early call tomorrow. Hope everyone is safe and having fun.

Sure hope you were able to drop South and pick up the tornados South of you.

Good luck Hank. See a tornado warning for Hays, KS up right now and some nice looking storms blowing up SE-CO/SW-KS right on the OK panhandle. Sitting this one out, but hoping for some nice storm clouds later in the week for OK/TX.

So thankful that my niece is home for the summer from college in Topeka, KS. Don’t know that Bennington, NE is any safer, but at least she’s not all alone. She’s majoring in Chemistry, so it’s nice to have a little break.
