Storm Chase May 1st

Heads or Tails y'all? Today I'm thinking the triple point in Kansas. The HRRR is saying "Play ball!" the NAM is saying "You're Out!" Yesterday it seemed the NAM was more accurate.
Also yesterday I'm 99% certain I saw a tiny saggy nipple, far far away spinning up. I couldn't record it because it was in my 10 O'Clock camera blind spot behind the Windbreaker window frame.
Did anybody else see it? Here's a radar grab 15 minutes or so prior...
The highlight of the day was this crazy smooth channel positive bolt. followed by some constant in in-cloud lightning under bright stars.

Good luck today Soul Chasers!

That pic is sure purdy!! Love the teal punch of color behind that snap of lightning!⚡️

Tight rotation in Clarendon, TX. There is another storm about 25 miles south that looks to be rotating near Turkey, TX. Not tornado warned at the moment.

Tails, tail end Charlie, but hey I’m still out of town.

Mesoscale makes me think SW Kansas but there is some CIN in place that is a bit of a concern. If a surface based storm can get going there it probably tornadoes, possibly strong if things go well.

Good luck Hank

Good luck, tails, I think there’s moisture issues in Kansas. I’ll be in NE Colorado
