The collective consciousness seems to be wish-casting landspouts and a long evening of lightning with Tail End Charlie.
Yesterday the formidable cap prevailed while optimistic chasers roasted under a blue sky. This resulted in long philosophical conversations, glory day stories and wit. Perhaps one of my most enjoyable days of the chase year.

Ended up getting a long thunderstorm while I was sleeping in my tent last night. Supposed to be even more intense and more rainfall tonight! So far haven't seen anything but sunny skies. Good luck finding some tornadoes!

Sounds like a fun time! Omaha is forecasted to get another 1”-3” of rain from now -Thurs. With all of the delays for the College World Series, it’s really messing with people’s vacation & travel plans. And this hot & humid weather is rough for the late afternoon games. Cool to see the diehard fans who travel to Omaha every year to watch their teams. ⚾️🏟️🧢☀️⛈️
