Barend

Awesome to see Dutch/Israeli infographics, especially as the IDF is a western country with a lot of combat experience. Is it possible that the small platoons are to be beefed up with another 2 tanks filled with conscripts once a major conflicts breaks out? Now I'm curious if their Infantry/Arty is organised the same way, with these small units.

Also for the first time, on the Israeli tank company graphic I put the correct numbering on the tanks. Each platoon has a number 1-4, which the Platoon Commander's tank wears, and then their deputy is the "B" tank. So 2 is the PL, 2B is the PSG. Platoons with 3 tanks (like the ones on Merkava Mk 3 in the reserves) also have an A tank who is the newest commander. The M113 carrying technicians and the medic is numbered "9". A battalion ordnance staff APC would be "19" and brigade equivalent would be "29" The Company Commander is the G tank (ג) equivalent to Charlie/C, and the XO is the D tank (ד). Battalion commanders are 10ג and battalion XOs are 11ג. The number of white lines on the cannon barrels represent the battalion (1-3) and the direction of the V < > ^ represents the company. These markings are displayed in a slightly different way on the tanks' mudguards.
