But god. This house is literally full of bees. Like.... full. Dead bees (and a handful of live ones ) fucking everywhere and I'm super freaked out about it. Calling exterminator first thing in the morning, they had supposedly fixed this before we moved in but that was a lie. Lmao. Can't even walk around barefoot cause they are all over the carpet we got cleaned y e s t e r d a y. I am really not happy rn . Lol. Idk how I'm supposed to fucking sleep,, didnt even sleep last night because of last minute packing. Yay

Syrup would actually be a better idea, in lieu of sugar water. They're more likely to pick up the "scent". Not that I think bees can smell in the traditional sense.
Bee's are a bit worrying, but as long as you don't bother them, they shouldn't bother you. I would suggest setting up a small bowl (or cup) with some honey or sugar water and setting it in the far corner of whatever room their terrorizing you in. That should at least keep them in one spot and out of your way for a bit.

Keep a flyswatter and a spray bottle under your pillow. Jokes aside, hopefully the exterminator can rectify that ASAP. Are you gonna file a complaint with whoever told you it was bug-free?
