nah, the balls being on the inside was the least weird part to me, as I've been designing alien races for a novel, focusing heavily on the idea that most authors arbitrarily decide that since we have it, our anatomy is clearly superior, and thus every alien should also have it, which is dumb. I'm talking literally everything, from having 4 limbs to being born as babies, from needing to excrete waste, to, absolutely, having the balls on the outside, which we evolved to have because the sperm would die from the heat if they were on the inside. Instead of, I don't know, HAVING BETTER SPERM? Nah, let's put the most vulnerable part of our body in the most easily accessible place.
