the phone thing is true! my improv professor would always get on us for using ‘old’ phone hand gestures, like dialing on a landline or using this 🤙 to indicate a phone (unless we were playing a specific era in time)

I believe there were studies done that proved that sugar doesn't affect ANYONE that way, its just that on occasions children were permitted to have extra sugar there were also reasons to be more excited (i.e. Christmas, birthdays, events, etc.) And it was incorrectly attributed to sugar.

For the phone thing, I'm gen z and do the banana phone thing but it's probably because I didn't grow up with the transition from cord to mobile so maybe it's just the middle generation, millenials/gen x that don't do the index and pinkie finger phone sign anymore?
