My best friend found out about crumbers at restaurants a couple years ago and always asks for them. I've never heard anyone mention these. lol

I don't have this exact one, but I have something similar (flame on the bottom heats the water so it steams and then condenses in the upper chamber, then you take the flame away, and it all goes back to the bottom chamber). I use it for tea, and the brewing time took awhile for me to get down. It's VERY dependent on what fuel you're using and how close the flame is. First time I did it, it was very fast so I shortened the wick, and then it took about an hour like y'alls did. Whoever ended up with this, just experiment around with wick lengths.

I wish I had known ahead of time on this one, I would have recommended the single serve French Press. It's a little metal basket on a stick with a plunger, it is infuriating to use for the first few times, and it would have been funny to watch them with it.

fun fact: i work at a warehouse, and one day we needed a lighter (don't ask, it was stupid), and i went to the warehouse manager and asked for a lighter. dude thinks for a second, then takes me to one of the FLAMMABLE cabinets. he cracks it open the cabinet is FULL of lighters, to the point where SEVERAL FALL OUT when he opens the door. he grabs one at random, lights it, and hands it to me. it was bizarre.

So toilet seats definitely collect bacteria. It's just not really an issue unless you have a cut on your ass, or you touch it with your hands and don't wash them.
