I think the author at the time was definitely a teenager in high school, and they were probably a really good writer. This was a side project they wanted to do for fun and it ended up one of the funniest things ever written. I think the author is has got to be famous by now and we just don't know who they ore, or maybe they've also written a popular creepypasta or SCP since horror and comedy can cross over quite a bit.

it's so impressive how the writing never improved, it's like the author wrote the whole story in the span of like three months, spelling never got fixed, the plot continued to be all over the place, I'm legitimately impressed at the consistent style and quality

Is anyone else honestly feeling inspired to write fiction after My Immortal? Like...honestly, it brought back memories of when I was 13 or 14 and would write complete garbage *constantly*...and remembering how fun that was before I developed an inner critic.
