This is so fucking funny, and totally relatable. When I was young on the internet I would have typed just the same thing. The early internet was so earnest and everyone was ready to be vulnerable, but people were also earnestly hateful hahah! "Surely I just have to explain to these people why they should stop bullying me! That will surely make them stop! :D". When folks talk about why social media is bad, this is why lol. The response to reviews that complained about particular aspects of the content after having been clearly warned about such content is valid. The thing that is funny is the insistence that such people are acting childishly rather than like adults while simultaneously acting childishly by getting so riled up about such meaningless things in the first place.

I think the word 'queer' is used to mean 'odd' or 'unusual' in the context. I think? This was the meaning quite a few years ago, similar to how the word 'gay' used to mean happy.

The wild part is that the sentiment of the author's note is not incorrect. It is, in fact, shitty and immature to read something you know you won't like just to leave nasty comments about it. But any moral high ground the author had is immediately completely destroyed by the five full pages of self-important capslock scolding instead of just deleting the offending reviews and ignoring it. Incredible stuff.

Oh my goodness! The one time I'm late and it's my submission! (I'm lezzybeaverman, not bowerman, but close enough). I shrieked in delight! There is SO MUCH MORE. And when she says heavy sex, she means "they do a bonding ceremony where they drink each other's pee and bang in front of monks". But it's LOOOONG and honestly the author's note is one of the best parts, so that's where I focused when I sent it in. This was everything I've ever wanted.

God, the JOURNEY we went on there. From "4 pages??", to "Okay, first page is a fair set of warnings, a little intense and self important, but whatever", to...THE MOMENT THE CAPS LOCK GOT CHAINED DOWN AGAINST ITS WILL AND GOT PROGRESSIVELY MORE UNHINGED...and then back to matter of fact notes. Arin's delivery was 100000/10. No notes. So much commitment. Dan's "I'm just amazed we haven't started" was the chefs kiss. I literally had to pause the video to catch my breath. Absolutely dying over here. The transition of the audience from "4 whole pages?" to "how is this only 4 pages?" is just...unmatched.

I haven't heard of either of these but My Immortal and My Inner Life seem similar with both starting with "My", saying "don't flame", having author's notes and grammar/spelling errors, etc. I think it may be the same author, or possibly someone just copying them on purpose XD Edit: Well the grammar is too good to be the same lol.
