I absolutely loved Criss Angel's show as a kid and was always mesmerized by the magic tricks he did. I never could figure them especially the big ones that he did. I also loved his escape tricks! My guess is that there are two slidy thingies where Arin was writing. First he pretends to write then asks Vannesa to write, he then copies what she wrote and slides that behind the plastic piece. He does that twice. He then forces the 5 hearts by placing it on the bottom of the deck, asks Vannesa to cut the cards, doesn't even touch her pile and picks up the one with the 5 hearts, shows it to everyone and writes it down
