My husband says the Titanic door thing isn't about space it's about weight. They're wearing layers of thick, drenched clothes on top of their own body weight, so even though there was enough room, they would have just taken the door down if they tried to stay afloat on it together. Makes more sense than just not wanting to let him on the door to me but I love Dan's fuck it we gotta shoot no time to saw the door theory
