Game Menu Poll

If you go to the game, open the menu and look at the bottom of the screen, you will be able to see how much XP you have on a character.
As I am working on Muffet, I've come to the realization that the current menu cannot fit more than 4 characters, which becomes a problem when Muffet and other future characters are added.
As it is right now, the current menu will have to be changed somehow. I have found 2 different solutions that could potentially work, but I want to know what people think is the best solution.
Option 1: Keep the same menu Layout (See Image 1), but remove the XP window at the bottom, and change it to an item that the player can interact with to check the XP of any character they have controlled.
Option 2: Change the menu style into one that allows more than 4 characters (See Image 2).
This poll will determine what I decide to go forward with, so please think carefully before choosing.

Option 2 can be expanded to include more people, the image is just the base size.

Option 2 seems a lot cleaner and can hold another character or two but does come with the added issue of also not working once you have 7 people total so it'd possibly need a 2nd reword I do prefer option 2 though!
