Beta Access for Non-Steam Users

Originally, only users who bought the game on Steam could play the early access builds of the game, but that's about to change. Itch.io has a section in its distribution category, allowing me to let users link their Patreon account with their itch.io account.
Due to this development, I'll be moving early access builds over to itch.io to allow users who can't access the game on Steam to play the beta builds. This will not affect users who already have access to the early access builds on Steam, you'll have to go to Ichio instead, but you will not need to repurchase the game.

Uploading the beta to both platforms would take twice as long and could result in de-syncing build versions. So we’d prefer to keep beta test builds on an itch download page that every patron can access.

I also am having the same issue
Gale level seems to currently be bugged. Whenever I finish it it'll stay on the last frame never actualyl finishing the level. This males Claire inaccessable.

I’d hope so the big point of it being on steam was so you didn’t have to redownload the game every update. There’s no reason to not have both methods available at this point.

Will steam early access still be used for future releases? Don't want to have to manually download each update as Steam makes it so much easier
