That was a lot of fun, thanks! First one was very easy for me as a Brit, but the second quiz was a bit more challenging. I'm from Leicester originally and that accent is very similar to those of nearby Nottingham and Derby. I've moved around a lot over the years and largely lost any distinctive accent, so no-one can tell where I'm from. I live in South Wales now and even there there a bunch of different accents.

We can blame middle class, previously the Merchant class, Victorians for pronouncing the H at the beginning of a word, before everyone dropped them, an 'angover from Norman French. They also introduced RP. One only had to travel to the next village to hear a change in accent.

That was fun! Got all of the ones you played, but the latter half of the second quiz was much more challenging and I just got lucky with a couple of them! Two of the more distinctive accents you didn't cover were Belfast and Bristol. Might be worth revisiting at some point for your main YouTube channel? Thanks for the video as always! 😊
