I feel sorry for pubs now that need two, one for the bar, one for the living accommodation upstairs. Many have removed the TV from the bar as Sky charge a large fee for pubs. They got wise to landlords running a cable from the box upstairs.

The dachshund is watching that pug thinking "how long do these things live anyway?"

In Ireland one has to have a TV license if one has any device capable of playing a TV programme, whether live or streamed so that's virtually every house and business, to rub salt in all our TV broadcasters show adverts even RTΓ who gets the license fee. Think it's around β¬175 as mine is now free but still have to have one online or paper. The ad breaks when streaming are a minute longer and 55 minute programmes made by the BBC when shown by the broadcasters here become 70 minutes plus with the ads.

(o: I worked in the electrical section of a department store a couple of times, and whenever someone buys a TV in the UK the retailer has to send their name and address to the TV licensing people.
